'Kitty' is a Thoroughbred mare, registered with the Jockey Club, and just approved Main Mare Book with the ISR/Oldenburg, N.A. Registry. She is just absolutely beautiful, a real classical type mare. She traces back to Endeavor II and Never Bend, as well as War Admiral, Man o' War and Northern Dancer. She also traces back through Irish Meadow to a slew of really good English, French and Argentine Thoroughbreds. These are outstanding sporthorse lines according to Dr. Peter Birdsall, a renowned expert on thoroughbred bloodlines for sport horse breeding.
Kitty's foals:
2004: A lovely filly by Bugatti Hilltop whois currently in training in Germany with
Michael Klimke. Bugatti just made his debut at Prix St. Georges and scored a
very respectable 65+% against older, more seasoned competitors.
Belize has an incredibly
classic look, fantastic dressage bloodlines - Donnerhall, Rubinstein and
Bolero, and is bred as well as any horse can be bred. Our 2003 foal,
Berlioz, by Bugatti and out of our mare Eleganz,
earned 1st Premium, High Score Award at the ISR/OLNA inspection at Hilltop
Farm.
2005: Kitty had an incredible foal by Comic (Come On/Platon I/Grande) for a 2005 foal. Comic scored very high for rideability, character and gaits, and his sire, Come One, is one of the really great jumpers in Germany. This foal, Chardonnay, has really good gaits, a really good engine, and a very, very nice personality.
